If you haven’t already interacted with the various kills and heard about the Soul Eater, tracking this quest should likely get you to do that first.
From here you may run into a problem, in that Atreus will mention that We’re not getting in while that Seidr barrier is up

This quest does not currently work from here, see if there's a way of making this functional.
In my case, tracking Conscience For The Dead, taking the gateway it led me to and selecting Vanaheim and its associated gate, then re-tracking In Plain Sight, put me in a new area, from where these instructions pick up.
Nav assist and find an interact prompt to swing up to a platform, where a white will spawn on your right.
Nav assist onwards some more (you don’t have to fight the white),
–>
I picked this quest back up immediately after completing For Vanaheim!
and these instructions begin at the mystic gateway that finishes that question.
Nav assist to unlock a blade shortcut. Then continue nav assisting to use it.
Keep nav assisting until you find an interact for a climb. Reaching the top , infrequently press nav assist as you run through, waiting unti the beacon is on your gith to start pressing it at your usual speed.
This solution didn’t work either, examine quest later.
